Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or universityA valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate coupled with a standard School Counselor's certificate, or a Director of Student Personnel Services, or a Director of School Counseling Services is required.At least five years of successful experience as a school counselor.Demonstrates leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Required criminal history clearance
  
  

JOB GOAL : To provide leadership, supervision, coordination, and innovation to the school counseling/ guidance department in order to provide the students of the district with the highest quality educational experience in keeping with state and federal guidelines as well as the goals of the Principal, Superintendent and Board of Education.
