Job Overview:
Freehouse is an organic brewery with tap room and wood-fired pizza located on the Ashely river. We are known for friendly customer service, a laid back vibe, great views, location, beer and pizza. We are seeking a friendly, energetic and customer focused taptender to join our team. **SHIFT TIMES: Tues-Thurs: 1pm-8pm; Fri: 1pm-7pm & 3pm-9pm; Sat: 11am-7pm & 1pm-9pm; Sun 11am-7pm.
Duties:
- represent the brewery with a friendly and attentive attitude from behind the bar
- pour beers, take pizza orders, work the POS
- clean and maintain bar, tap room tables, and beer garden consistently
- perform opening and closing duties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of brewing, food handling, POS systems, cash registers, and basic math skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and increase sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
