Company Description
Hello! Thank you for taking a look at this application! The game will be release on Steam April 2nd and it's nearly completed. You will be credited and as well gain revenue share when the game is a success. The type of game this is a tycoon cozy simulation game with medieval tavern theme. Very minimum fighting but there is fighting within this game. If you have the skills to create combat for ai and player using AI Behavior trees within Unreal Engine 5 is a plus. My team uses Github as our source control, Trello as our task management, & my Discord community for communication. Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Combat Designer at Freelance. The Combat Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing combat systems for video games, creating combat mechanics, and balancing game difficulty. The Combat Designer will collaborate with game developers to ensure that the combat experience aligns with the overall game design.
Qualifications
- Combat System Design, Combat Mechanics Design, and Game Balancing skills
- Experience in designing and implementing combat systems for video games
- Strong understanding of game design principles
- Knowledge of combat AI and player engagement
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Experience in the gaming industry is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field is also a plus but not required
