In this role, you will be responsible for selling our range of heavy equipment inventory to individuals and businesses in various locations per territories. Your knowledge of heavy equipment and salesmanship will be crucial as you build and maintain, strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide their solutions effectively. - Product Knowledge: Must have a deep understanding of various types of heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, track loaders, wheel loaders, telehandlers, tractors).
- Sales Skills: Ability to engage potential buyers, present products, and close sales by addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their equipment needs and providing ongoing support.
- Market Research: Keep track of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to position products effectively.
- Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing equipment features, capabilities, and benefits to potential buyers.
- Negotiation: Work with customers to negotiate pricing, financing options, and terms to close deals.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company.
- Lead Generation: Identify and follow up on sales leads through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals.
