Job Description
We’re seeking a team member who has a passion for building premium offshore fishing boats. This team member will grind, sand, clean or polish objects and parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing using hand and power tools. They will drill holes in molded fiberglass decks, hulls and small parts. Measure and mark decks, hulls and small parts to ensure quality standards are met. This team member will verify quality by inspecting the completed parts. This person will work with equipment, worktables, chemicals, power tools and hand tools.
· Cut fiberglass boats once removed from molds
· Grind and sand bonding surfaces to smooth cut sides
· Cut flanges off of parts and cut out hatches
· Leveling of bulkheads
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools and a tape measure
- Ability to work in a fiberglass dust environment that is fast paced and noisy
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective suits, dusts masks and respirators.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Employees must be able to work a 10-hour shift or more in one workday including planned and unplanned overtime.
- Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
