Freeman Boatworks, the industry leader in offshore fishing catamarans, is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist. The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for daily shipping and receiving of product from our customers and vendors as well as warehouse upkeep and organization. Requirements
- Primarily responsible for receiving and shipping of company parts, consumables, and other inventory items.
- Proper receiving and inspection of received product.
- Maintain records of received shipments, checking off against receiving documents.
- Alerting management and proper documentation of any discrepancies.
- Labeling and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
- Review all shipping packing lists daily, communicating with purchasing of any missing product.
- Assist with inventory physical count and cycle counts.
- Meet performance standards of the department (goals & objectives).
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented, with an understanding of part numbers, inventory quantities and how it applies to project orders.
- Must have excellent attention to detail with data.
- Prior experience in shipping or receiving a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, email using Outlook).
- Ability to read, comprehend and execute instructions.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Requirements:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- Noise level is generally moderate to loud.
- Frequent lifting required up to 50 lbs.
- Day shift: 7-4 Monday to Friday
- Overtime, as needed
