Description:
- Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily
- Perform point of care testing
- Triage residents for examinations to provide the best level of care appropriately
- Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets
- Maintain detailed records in EMR systems
- Educate residents by providing medication and diet information. Clarifying physicians’ orders answering questions thoroughly
- Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.
- Prepare and administer medications to alleviate resident symptoms
- Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner
- Monitor patients in detox and residential care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and recovery related issues.
- Support patients in attaining mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery.
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Experience working in recovery or mental health and substance abuse treatment preferred
- CPR, First Aid/AED certification (provided by FRC, if needed) required
- This is a drug-free workplace. Must be able to pass drug test and background check
- CNA Certificate/ License or MA Certificate / License
