Position: Client Transport Specialist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Transportation Supervisor
Job Purpose: To provide safe and timely transportation for patients to activities, meetings, and events as needed, ensuring a secure and supportive environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to scheduled destinations safely and punctually.
- Conduct routine safety checks on vehicle(s) to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Operate motor vehicles responsibly and in compliance with all traffic laws and organizational policies.
- Refrain from using any cellular or electronic devices while operating a motor vehicle.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients.
- Ensure all necessary documentation related to transportation is completed accurately and promptly.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.
Education and experience, degree and/or certification required (if applicable):
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Ability to work with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends, if needed.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety checks is a plus.
- Experience in patient transportation or healthcare settings is preferred but not required.
