Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen within the Catering Department at The Freeman Hospital for a Part Time Catering Assistant to work as a part of our team working in the Freeman Catering Department serving food to staff, visitors and patients, as a part of the team you will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the department in line with food hygiene regulations and trust policies.
Working on a 3 week roster, 5 days over 7
Position - 11.15 to 13.15

Main duties of the job
- Cleaning of the equipment within the department.
- Working on the patient belt, placing food on the plate to ensure patient gets the food they require.
- Working in the dish wash area stripping the trolleys and placing the crockery through the washers.
- Filling in of departmental paper work.
- General cleaning duties within the department.
- At all times following food hygiene and trust policy regulations.
