Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of the maintenance division.
- Align maintenance operations with company goals, client expectations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other directors and senior management to drive growth and operational excellence.
- Oversee account managers, operations managers, and maintenance crews by providing clear direction and support.
- Make strategic hiring decisions and create successful onboarding and training initiatives.
- Manage the scheduling, routing, and execution of all maintenance activities to ensure on-time and high-quality service delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value or long-term clients, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Create and manage the maintenance division’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Establish and enforce quality standards for maintenance services to uphold the company’s reputation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Business Administration, Landscape Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and oversee complex operations.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, maintenance equipment, and safety standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 or equivalent programs; experience in Aspire is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
