We are growing! Freeman Landscape is looking for a Fleet and Equipment Manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for performing service and repairs on our truck fleet, heavy equipment, lawn mowers, and 2-cycle engines for our landscape operations team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair of trucks, trailers, and equipment correctly, safely, and efficiently
- Accurately document all work performed to each unit
- Clean repaired items prior to returning for crew use.
- Keep work area and shop common areas clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
- Truck mechanic experience preferred
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required
- Ability to work in fast pace environment.
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
