Overall purpose of Litigation Attorney:
We see your primary purpose to lead legal strategy and execution of personal injury cases from initial filing through trial or settlement. Your role directly impacts the firm's success by ensuring clients receive the compensation they deserve, while upholding the firm’s reputation for excellence and integrity.
Job priorities include:
- Case Management: Take ownership of a personal injury case docket, ensuring cases are prepared effectively and efficiently from filing to resolution.
- Client Advocacy: Provide top-tier representation in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough legal research, develop case strategies, and draft high-quality legal documents, motions, and briefs.
Other important Job responsibilities:
- Manage discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests.
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to streamline case preparation.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
- Assist with firm-wide initiatives, such as training junior attorneys and contributing to legal marketing efforts.

Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in litigation with a focus on personal injury law
- Strong skills in legal research and drafting; proficiency with tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw is essential.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
