Freeman Leonard is seeking a Sales Coordinator for an entertainment company.Location : Hybrid in Culver CityLanguage Requirement : Bilingual in Spanish or PortugueseThis position supports multiple aspects of licensing business – reporting to designated supervisor with primary focus on merchandising and promotional design approvals of license articles and assisting filing and drafting documents. This position requires daily communication with our HQ in Japan and licensees in Latin America.Major Responsibilities Manage Approvals and Style guide materials : Organize the approval process, artwork development schedule, samples, etc. and share the information internally.Take proactive and preventative measures to avoid problems and minimize licensing and approval issues.Coordinate / request materials from the HQ in Japan office and the delivery of materials and assets to licensees.Communicate with licensees and / or local agents and / or HQ in Japan daily to have smoother approval coordination and immediate solutions.Coordinate with HQ in Japan in creating new themed style guides following local trends.Coordinate approval schedule to avoid delays.Ensure the quality of the final products.Able to keep sample room and space in good order and well organize final samples including pre-production samples.Finish tasks independently with periodical supervision and revision.Coordinating Licensing Business Provide information and report as requested by HQ in Japan and / or Licensees and / or Supervisor to ensure a smooth licensing transaction.Complete sales transactions including filing and updating documents required within a designated timeline.Accurately collect account receivables and closeouts within designated timelines.Able to increase sales opportunities with the development of marketing plans, materials, and summaries as needed.Develop and maintain appropriate project timelines in line with supervisor’s expectations.Provide information as requested by HQ in Japan and / or Licensee.Obtain and assess information, statements, samples, etc. that can be used for future sales activity.Organize and review documents as needed; review royalty reports, file contracts, draft documents using templates, etc.Qualifications Minimum of 1.5 years experience in consumer product, promotional and event licensing.Strong administrative skills; superior organizational and time management skills required.Must be able to give meticulous attention to details while meeting deadlines.Basic understanding of accounting for sales booking and budgeting.Experience working with partners in Latin / South America and Japan.Must be at least bilingual in English and Spanish (and Portuguese preferred).Basic understanding of IP law, including trademark strategy, knowledge of identifying and enforcing against counterfeit products a plus.Experience with file sharing, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.Associate / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.Seniority Level Entry levelEmployment Type Full-timeIndustries Entertainment Providers, Broadcast Media Production and Distribution, and Retail Apparel and Fashion#J-18808-Ljbffr
