Driver Delivery and Furniture Assembly

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery and assembly . The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including 26 FT box trucks , to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products .
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with commercial driving preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Capability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) safely and efficiently.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
