- Chaplains are able to provide an important part of healing through assessing spiritual needs for our patients and families
- Join a team that provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Schedule: Part Time (20hrs/week)
What You'll Do
Staff chaplains work as members of the health care team for the well being of the whole person and for the general improvement of the overall health of the community. Staff chaplains work to create a person oriented environment in order to meet the non-medical needs of patients, their families, and staff, by offering spiritual and emotional care regardless of race, socio-economic status, or religious affiliation.
Requirements
Experience as a minister in a church or experience as a hospital or hospice chaplain.
Ordination, licensure, or official letter of affiliation with documented credentials/experience from a recognized religious body.
Preferred Qualifications
One Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
Bachelor's degree.
Three years' experience as a minister in a church, or one year experience as a hospital or hospice chaplain.
