Schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/week)
What You’ll Do
To apply the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to medical records for data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing. Enters all facility procedure charges and facility E/M charges for Emergency Department (ED) accounts.
Requirements
Current coding certification in one of the following - RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CCS and or CCS-P.
If homebound, must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma.
Recent work experience as an Outpatient/ED hospital coder; Meditech and 3M Encoder experience is a plus.
