About Us - Physical Therapy
- Physical therapists help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability for any patient suffering from injury or disease
- Therapy focuses on improving function, strength, balance and coordination with a goal of improving, restoring or maintaining how an individual functions at work and at home
- Freeman therapists also teach patients to use assistive and adaptive devices, such as crutches, prostheses and wheelchairs
What You’ll Do
Independently follows a treatment plan based on the Therapist/goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides D/C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and department policies/procedures.
Requirements
Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license.
