About Us – Birthing Center
- Located on the first floor at Freeman Hospital West we offer private labor, delivery and recovery rooms with a variety of labor options for our patients
- As one of the busiest maternity centers in Missouri, we've earned the trust of moms-to-be because we provide family-centered care and individual attention in a warm, caring environment
- The Birthing Center consists of 9 labor suites, 2 triage rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 recovery bays
- We have highly skilled physician, midwife, and nursing teams with 24-hour in-house, dedicated anesthesia staff
- Level III, 24-bed unit equipped to handle critically ill or premature
What You'll Do
Under the direction of the nurse, performs clerical and receptionist duties associated with unit operations.
