- A high school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by 7 years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead roles
- Bachelor's degree in a technical mining discipline, combined with 3 years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
- Ability to resolve day-to-day questions and problems regarding equipment, materials, and procedures
- Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring, and administration
