Where You Will Work
Located in southeastern Arizona, close to more than 4 million acres of national forest, employees and their families can connect with the great outdoors while fishing, rafting, hiking and more. Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology.
Description
Under close supervision, performs routine SX / EW and Leach testing functions. Duties include but are not limited to data collection, sample collection and preparation; mine site support and assist in the development and optimization of site processes.
- Collect data and samples, which may include traveling to mine sites
- Prepare samples for analysis and run tests using appropriate established techniques and methods
- Set-up of instruments and equipment
- Responsible for performing inspections and audits, including but not limited to : work place inspections, safety related inspections, ISO audits and complete documentation as required
- Operate mobile equipment, including but not limited to : forklifts, overhead crane, loaders, skid steers
- Train and mentor other employees
- May assist in maintaining laboratory / field instrumentation and equipment; diagnose problems, calibrate and retest as appropriate; ensure lab has appropriate supplies for operation
- May compile, assign, track, ship and receive materials
- May lead site audits and other site support projects as required
- May be involved in project planning and execution of project(s)
- May enter data into spreadsheets / databases
- Follow and understand MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations, Environmental rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work area instructions
- Participate in safety and environmental activities
- Use plant and laboratory equipment correctly at all times
- Perform housekeeping and other duties as required

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $23.00 - $31.00 / hour . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
