Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company’s Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulphuric acid for our North American leaching operations. Description
Create, review, update and deliver competency based learning and assessment to a culturally diverse range of learners in on and off job situations. Contribute as a recognized technical expert member of a larger team of educational professionals, at all times demonstrating those behaviors that fully support technical training values, policies and procedures.
- Deliver / facilitate on and off the job Competency Based Development in field of expertise in order to meet customer development needs and quality standards
- Create competency based learning materials so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes
- Create competency based assessment tools, conduct on and off the job competency assessments in field of expertise in order to ensure assessment standards are met
- Develop and communicate learning program schedules, implement schedules to ensure that programs are delivered as planned and meet customer requirements
- Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up-to-date and recorded in the Company Learning Management System
- Respond to customer learning and development, provide appropriate technical support and advice in order to assist technical training meet / exceed customer expectations
- Develop the technical and instructional of Instructors and Assistant Instructors so that they are able to effectively deliver and assess competency based learning programs
- Provide a competent technical support service to customers in order to assist customers to fault find and diagnose challenging technical problems that occur with equipment and systems
- Coordinate competency based learning projects so that these projects are completed on time and within budget
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred
10 Years of Industrial Electrical / Instrumentation experience
Instruction / Training experience
Applicable license(s) and / or certification(s)

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $39.50 - $54.50 / hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
