Job Summary
Assist the care of Imaging and Cardiac Services patients. This includes transporting patients to and from IP units, OP areas and the Emergency department; assisting in putting patients on and off of imaging equipment, assists with documentation to facilitate the care of the patient and the completion of the Imaging record. Cleans equipment, stocks supplies and manages linen for specific areas. Works under the guidance of the Imaging Technologist.
Job Responsibilities
- Transports patients
- Assists OP in changing from street clothes into growth
- Assists in obtaining patient history
- Assists with getting patient on and off of imagining equipment
- Stocks supplies Empties soiled linen and restocks clean linen
- Assists technologist with PACS and the completion of the documentation
Qualifications
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: 6 – 12 months
