Description
The primary responsibility of this role will be to monitor and help keep our Behavioral Health patients safe. When there are no needs for a Behavioral Health sitter, the Patient Care Liaison may help with other duties as described in the Job Responsibilities.
Primary Hours: 1500-2330 (every other weekend is required along with holiday rotation)
Job Summary
The Patient Care Liaison functions closely with nursing staff to provide care needs to the patients. This role will function as a non-clinical role performing duties for patient care areas to support patient experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize, clean, and straighten patient rooms and general unit care areas
- Coordinate and assist with phone calls to dietary services
- Distribution of stock and supplies on the unit
- Delivery and removal of patient food trays and supplements
- Rounding in patient rooms providing fresh water, garbage removal, and handing out warm blankets
- Transport patients via wheelchair for discharge and testing
- Sit with patients, which may include behavioral health patients
- Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
Education: Position is intended for individuals with interest in allied health programs ages 16
Required Experience: 0 – 6 months
