Position Overview: At FreePower, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the industry with our innovative FreePower for Countertop solutions. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated technician to support our fabricators nationwide. FreePower is only sold through certified fabricators. Support is needed to help fabricators through the certification process as well as for optimization of process, introducing new techniques, machine setup, and best practices. Job Responsibilities
- Support the sales team by following up with fabricators in the certification process.
- Train fabricators calls and on-site training.
- Troubleshoot common issues with machines and the machining process.
- Support and troubleshoot machining of different stone and material types.
- Support the operations team including tooling management, shipping, test cut review, installations and special projects.
- Willing to travel often, up to 75% of your time, for on-site onboarding, training, and or troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Experience in the stone industry fabrication.
- CNC experience in 5 axis saws and or routers.
- CNC tool setup experience is a major plus.
- CNC programming knowledge is a plus. (Alphacam, Fusion 360, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Training skills and experience are a plus.
