What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stormwater Engineer position at Freese and Nichols Inc?
Freese and Nichols, Inc.(FNI) is currently searching for a highly-motivated, passionate and experienced Stormwater Engineer to join our Central Texas Stormwater Group preferably in San Antonio, Texas, but open to Austin or Corpus Christi offices as well.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the production for H&H analysis and preparation of technical reports for diverse projects including open channels, closed conduit systems, drainage master planning and CIPs, detention / retention ponds, mitigation of drainage impacts, and regional flood planning.
- Support the management of small and large-sized projects, prepare and maintain project schedules, support tracking of project financials, prepare monthly status reports, and interface with clients.
- Candidate will work independently as well as oversee the work of teams of professionals and analysts.
- Candidate will have strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills and will provide direction and mentorship to junior staff.
