What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM/CAD Tech III position at Freese and Nichols?
- Utilizes FNI CAD Standards and follows instruction per direction from PM, Designers and Lead CAD Staff.
- Interprets sketches and markups to incorporate into sheets.
- Places and manages files according to CAD Standards and prepares final drawings. Utilizes surveyor data.
- Prepares accurate and complete sets of drawings which involve multiple views and detail drawings with minimal input from Designer or Engineer.
- Coordinates with other disciplines throughout the lifecycle of the project. Provides basic training and guidance to CAD Staff Performs quality control on deliverables and provides Continuous Improvement input.

Qualifications
- 6 years of experience performing CAD functions in a 3D environment
- Aptitude for mathematics, reading drawings and maps, and a high degree of computer and BIM/CAD software competency.
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Associate degree in BIMCAD preferred
