Job Description:
The successful candidate will engage in various project work at the Hanford Site near Richland, Washington. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting hydrogeologic investigations
- Overseeing drilling and well installation
- Participating in multimedia sampling programs
- Evaluating and interpreting environmental and geologic data
- Providing CERCLA and RCRA regulatory support
- Maintaining environmental databases
- Preparing technical reports
This role emphasizes fieldwork combined with in-office data analysis and report preparation.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Geology/Hydrogeology
- Motivated self-starter with attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Willingness to relocate to the Richland, Washington area
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant project experience (consulting experience preferred)
- 1 year of field geology experience at the Hanford Site
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Strong technical writing skills
