Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Safely unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment such as cherry pickers, order pickers, and clamp trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages to the warehouse supervisor.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording received items and updating inventory systems as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices.
- Experience operating cherry pickers, order pickers, clamp trucks, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
