What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Tire Loaders position at Freight Breakers LLC?
We are looking for motivated and hardworking workers / loaders to join our team. Our operation is simple; you will be working in teams of two to load 2-3 trailers per day. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of loading tires and be familiar with basic loading protocols and safety guidelines.
Overview: The team will be loading full pallets of tires onto conveyor or by pallet jack/walkie rider and loading tries by hand onto the trailer.
· Pre-Check make sure trailers are empty and free of trash, report any damage to the inside of trailer.
· Load tires onto conveyor
· Attention to detail as SKU numbers on tires can change.
· Repetitive lifting and bending
· Must be able to lift to 70lbs.
· This is accomplished with 2 people, and we are averaging 2.5 or less hours per trailer.
· We have a standard of loading 2-3 trailers per team of two.
Pay:
· Paid per trailer loaded (2-3 trailers daily) A trailer’s payout is determined by its weight.
· The faster/efficient you are, the more you make.
· The average loader can make $500 to $1000 in a week ($120-200 a day)
Requirements
· Has worked a physically demanding job before
· Has steel toe/composite toe shoes
· Has reliable transportation
· Reliable attendance
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Must be able to pass a drug screen
· Must be able to lift to 70lbs
Schedule:
· Monday-Friday
- 7am- 3:30pm (You are expected to stay the entire shift
Salary : $120 - $200
