About the Role :
As the Logistics Accounting Manager, you will manage a Team that processes all accounting transactions for a $70 million freight broker. You and your team will provide all accounting support for our operations, including invoicing customers, applying customer payment, researching and resolving billing issues, processing and approving vendor bills, paying vendor bills, and supporting our agents and internal ops teams.
The Logistics Accounting Manager reports directly to the CFO and interacts daily with executive management.
The successful candidate will have a four-year college degree and at least five years of experience in logistical accounting. We are looking for candidates that are local to the Denton, Texas area who can work in our office at 2437 Fort Worth Drive in Denton. Come join our rapidly growing team!
What You’ll Do :
- Lead a team to process daily accounting transactions and support operations.
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing customer invoices, customer payments, vendor invoices and vendor payments.
- Successfully work with customers, agents, operations, carriers, and factors to resolve issues.
- Manage Triumph Pay, our third-party carrier and factor payment application.
- Administer internal controls and processes to protect company assets.
