About the Role:
As a Trailer Mechanic with Freightbull, you'll work closely with our skilled technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of 53' Dry Van and Temperature Controlled trailers. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular maintenance checks, performing minor electrical repairs, and inspecting and replacing tires.
Responsibilities:
- DOT inspections of trailers to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Minor electrical repairs to keep trailers running smoothly
- Bodywork to maintain the integrity of our trailers
- Tire inspection and replacement to guarantee optimal performance
- Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- A valid state driver's license is a must
- The ability to learn and apply Reefer maintenance procedures
- The capacity to consistently lift over 50 pounds
- A smartphone is necessary for communication
- Prior experience with welding is desirable but not required
