Delivery Helper Final Mile White Glove
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Final Mile Delivery Helper to assist our delivery drivers in ensuring that packages are safely and efficiently delivered to customers. As a Delivery Helper, you will work closely with the driver to unload, lift, and transport packages to their final destination, providing a positive experience for the customer. Key Responsibilities:
- Package Handling: Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing packages in the delivery vehicle for efficient transport.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during delivery by communicating clearly and professionally with customers.
- Delivery Support: Help the driver navigate through the delivery route, ensuring packages are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
- Unloading and Carrying: Physically assist with carrying packages to customer locations, including homes, businesses, or other delivery points.
- Problem-Solving: Address minor issues or challenges during delivery (e.g., incorrect addresses, delivery reschedules) with a positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, secure package handling, and adherence to traffic safety rules.
- Equipment Use: Assist with any delivery equipment, such as hand trucks, dollies, or straps, to ensure the safe handling of packages.
- Documentation: Assist the driver with logging delivery progress, including completed deliveries or issues encountered during the route.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Arrive on site at given start time.
- Coordinate and communicate with dispatch staff to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assemble, hook-up, install, and set up items in-home.
- Take pictures to certify delivery via POD entry at delivery location.
- Return to customer site to return any undelivered items each day.
- Maintain clean and organized tools and blankets inside box truck.
- Familiar with 26ft box truck.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a delivery helper or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with basic delivery equipment (e.g., hand trucks, dollies).
- Basic knowledge of the local area and neighborhoods.
- Willing to wear uniform.
- Safety-minded, willing to go the extra mile for safety.

Pay: $170.00 per day
