We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Mattress Delivery Helper to join our team. As a Mattress Delivery Helper, you will work alongside a driver to deliver mattresses to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading mattresses and other related products.
- Safely and carefully handle mattresses to avoid damage during transit and delivery.
- Help navigate the delivery route and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist in setting up and installing mattresses in customers’ homes (if applicable).
- Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the delivery.
- Verify delivery details and check customer signatures to confirm successful delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and receipts are completed accurately.
- Help ensure the safety of the delivery team and customers by adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with the inspection of products for any damage or defects before delivery.
- Help with other warehouse duties, such as organizing and preparing orders for delivery when needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy mattresses (up to 150 lbs with assistance).
- Excellent physical stamina, capable of performing manual tasks throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing each job with quality and care.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
