Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Develop competitive and profitable bids.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure proposals meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Manage subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing for optimal project value.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of unit costs and historical project data for future use.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating.
- Proven ability to develop accurate and competitive bids that win projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, equipment, and installation practices.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
