About the team
For this Music Teacher position, you'll be working for our high school in north Philadelphia called TECH Freire Charter School (9th-12th Grade) : Freire Schools' established rigorous college-prep high school program is infused with technology and entrepreneurship education to unlock creativity and potential in our students. We have a culture that demands excellence from our students while providing them the supports they need to achieve at high levels and prepare for college. 96% of TECH Freire's Class of 2024 were accepted to college and earned over $7 million in college scholarships and aid.

What you'll do
You'll inspire and engage students in a dynamic music curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical skill, and an appreciation for diverse musical traditions.
Responsibilities
- Teach general music classes, including music theory, history, composition, and performance.
- Establish consistent communication rhythms with families regarding individual student progress and school related information.
- Actively participate in professional development and collaboration with staff to support the needs of our students.

Pay and benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $50,000 - $85,000. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and more. Pennsylvania employees are enrolled in Freire's 403(b) retirement plan which includes a 5% contribution from Freire
