What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call / Emergency Services Independent Contractor position at Fremont Counseling Service?
Community mental health center located in Wyoming is seeking an Independent Contractor to provide emergency/crisis services during during scheduled weeknights (5pm to 8am) or scheduled weekends (Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm).
Requires a current, independent, unencumbered mental health professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the State of Wyoming.
- Services provided over telephone or via telehealth.
- All services must be accurately documented and submitted in a timely manner.
- Covering either Lander or Riverton.
- Field crisis calls from the general public.
- Conduct Title 25 evaluations (Evaluation for Involuntary Detention) as requested by local hospitals.
- Responsible for follow up and helping with placement of detained patients to facilities if they are deemed appropriate for continued psychiatric hospitalization.
- On the job training provided and job shadowing required before working independently.
- Services are provided as an independent contractor (no taxes deducted and 1099 provided if paid over $600 per calendar year).
Base pay (to be on-call, regardless if any calls are received):
- $60 per night (Monday - Thursday, 5pm - 8am)
- $100 per night (Friday 5pm - Saturday 5pm and/or Saturday 5 pm - Sunday 5pm)
- $120 per holiday
Services pay:
- $125 per T25 evaluation (3.81) completed including providing immediate gatekeeping needs
- $60 per re-evaluation assessment (8.81 or 14.81 documents)
- $60 per any gatekeeping follow up work after a T25 has been completed
- $50 for any professional consulting (20 minutes)
- $50 per level of care evaluation at the detention centers
- $50 per crisis calls (20 minutes)
- $60 per weekday primary call
- $30 per weeknight when primary on-call requires back-up
