REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holds or previously held a valid Wyoming teaching certificate w/ a Sped endorsement
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three or more years of teaching experience
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of general curriculum and instruction across multiple grade levels
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide students who may or may not be eligible for special education services receiving their education outside of the FCSD#25 campuses for a temporary amount of time with learning activities and opportunities. Accommodate or modify instructional material when needed per a student’s IEP or Section 504. Prepare provided lessons and other instructional materials to student ability levels. Work with a student in a community setting as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver instruction to students unable to participate in a regular school setting.
- Implement the goals, services, and accommodations on the IEP or 504.
- Confer with FCSD#25 on campus staff as needed regarding assignments, due dates, and grade reporting.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs and capabilities of each student assigned.
- Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
- Assist in enforcement of school rules, administrative regulations, and Board policies.
- Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
- Works independently with little direct supervision
- Use technology in teaching/learning process
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.

Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified or classified personnel.
SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Temporary Staff Salary Schedule - $40 per hour.
