SUMMARY: Perform ticket sales duties related to the sale of tickets to the general public. The Retail Sales Office Staff consists of the following positions which each staff member will be required to perform.
Greet – Greet customers as soon as they enter the ticket office. Assist customers that have purchased tickets online or through the self-service kiosks and make any necessary additional sales. Able to multi-task answering questions, placing wristbands on guests, reprinting receipts/wristbands as needed.
Cash Handling – Assist customers with purchase of tickets, answering questions, adding sales and provide information during the transaction to ensure the guests are fully prepared to enjoy the attraction(s). Ensure accuracy with cash handling procedures.
Merchandise Handling – Assist customers with the purchase of merchandise, to include basic product knowledge, as well as the ability to price/stock place merchandise, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Handle credit card and cash transactions.
- Secure and balance money drawer at beginning and end of shift.
- Operate a POS (Point-of-Sale) Ticketing System for both ticketing and merchandise sales and returns.
- Assist multiple guests with transactions at self-service ticketing kiosks.
- Verify guests are not overly intoxicated and thus unable to safely ride the zip line.
- Routinely inform guests of critical safety instructions.
- Use an electronic scale to verify guest meet the safe weight requirements
- Stock and inventory merchandise both on the sales floor and in the storeroom.
- Assist guest with the donning of zip line wrist bands to their wrists.
- Follow opening procedures for opening the office and kiosk areas.
- Clean office and all guest areas daily as needed before and after opening to the public.
- Welcome guests in a friendly and cheerful manner.
- Follow closing procedures for closing the office and kiosk areas.
- Support the success of the team as a whole, aligning with FSE policies and procedures.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the retail leadership team.

- Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate in a friendly, courteous manner with management, guests, other employees of the company and the general public.
- Ability to correctly and safely use cleaning solutions and solvents.
