Salary : $70-80K
In-office position, once you've worked there for a few months there will be remote options, but this is not a hybrid or remote job.
8AM-5PM schedule with flexibility to take half days on Friday if work is completed.
Project Accountant
SWABACK Architects Planners seeks a Project Accountant to join our team. This is a
full-time position, reporting directly to the Controller.
MUST have architecture engineering or construction experience.
As Project Accountant, you will :
- Provide end-to-end Contract Management from project creation to close-out within
Deltek Vision.
including all applicable backup.
coding, sending out for review approvals, scanning to accounting system,
administering check run(s), researching vendor payment inquiries, and processing
1099's annually.
procedures, processes, and / or tools that might improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications Required :
an Architecture, Engineering or Construction firm.
invoicing.
software. (Sage or SAP)
Project Managers, Senior Level Management, and clients.
Must be able to put together a project financial statement so that they don't see problems at billing and go over budget.
Must know how to do their own expense reports and be able to delegate work properly. They need to understand some things can't be controlled- being flexible will be a big benefit. Must be a strong communicator, hoping for someone with a positive attitude. Easy going manager - wants someone who understands the world isn't black and white.
Looking for someone who is interested in growing with the company and moving up, they're looking for someone who has a say and will contribute in meetings.
