Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories from patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to pediatrics and psychopharmacology.
- Perform medical procedures such as sonography, catheterization, and laboratory tests.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' health status regularly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification required for Nurse Practitioners.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Experience working with children in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.
