Job Overview
The Case Manager plays a vital role in the Non-Clinical Case Management Team by ensuring that WYARNG service members maintain medical readiness for deployment and mission requirements. This position is responsible for tracking and managing soldier medical records and interfacing with medical databases. The Case Manager directly assists service members by reviewing, correcting, and updating their medical documentation, coordinating Physical Health Assessments (PHAs), and working closely with military leadership to maintain compliance with Army and DoD medical readiness directives.
Qualifications
- Education: Preferred Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in medical records and administration.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in military medical case management or data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MEDPROS and other Army medical tracking systems (or similar)
- Full-time, 40 hours a week
- One weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday)
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Enter and update medical data in appropriate databases: MEDPROS, MODS, MEDCHART, and PRT.
- Ensure accuracy of service members' medical documentation.
- Track and coordinate Physical Health Assessments; Soldiers Treatment Records, and medical board cases.
- Monitor and update soldier medical readiness status.
- Assist in documenting and tracking deployment readiness requirements.
- Administrative duties include: Data entry; Scanning, filing, and tracking digital and hard-copy records; logging contacts; initiating, processing and tracking cases.
