Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Under the supervision of EP physician, assists with electrophysiology, cardiac ablation, and cardiac rhythm management device implant procedures. Nursing care also includes tilt table exams, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Assists with case monitoring and scrubbing procedures. Helps in managing inventory/par levels and ordering of supplies. Coordinates EP education and provides preceptorship and
training for new EP staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Current experience as an RN in an electrophysiology lab
- California Registered Nurse, RN, license in good standing.
- CPR - BLS certification
- ACLS certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of EP experience
- RCES certification; if not current, will work towards obtaining within first 2 years of hire
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
