BASIC SUMMARY: The Scheduling Supervisor will assist with directing and supervising the Scheduling office by planning, implementing, and supporting Scheduling office policies and procedures. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of Company policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related, relevant experience preferred.
Three to five years of administrative/clerical work experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a training role preferred.
Must have the ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must have computer proficiency with office programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and scheduling software.
Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
Must be at least 21 years of age
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Will customarily and regularly supervise the work of at least two or more Administrative Schedulers.
2. Evaluates the performance of Administrative Schedulers and provides immediate feedback to improve productivity and effectiveness.
3. Assists with developing and implementing standard staffing matrixes for operations according to monthly forecasts.
4. Assists with monitoring active employment roster of associates to maintain appropriate staffing.
5. Serves as an advocate for associates, consulting Human Resources, while advising the management team regarding appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
6. Must consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees, and represent the company in a friendly and professional manner.
7. Maintains a high level of professional communication and positive relationships with all customers and associates.
8. Maintains absolute confidentiality and integrity with all written and oral information concerning company operations, management and staff.
9. Assists in ensuring department schedules are written weekly within constraints of collective deadlines.
10. Assists in documenting all attendance deviations, including absences and tardiness, early outs, etc. by generating disciplinary action forms when necessary according to company policies and procedures.
11. Assist in forwarding any attendance related disciplinary actions to department manager for presentation to associate.
12. Ensures associate possesses proper credentials including employee alcohol permits and gaming license if necessary.
13. Assists in greeting new associates during Orientation and provides training schedules, procures uniforms and gives tours of work area. Assists in requesting Info Genesis cards and banks if necessary.
14. Assists scheduling associates for all mandatory meetings.
15. Assists the department managers as needed.
16. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by management.
