Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Manage the flow of guests in the dining area, ensuring efficient seating and waitlist management.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage guest seating and track reservations effectively.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly regarded.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
