Overview
Niche law practice, focusing on real estate investment and corporate litigation. Focus areas include judicial foreclosure sales, evictions, building code violations, administrative law hearings, real estate transactions, breach of contract, mechanic liens, torts and probate.
Looking for a Law Clerk to assist with day to day and work directly with an Attorney and support staff. Tasks include but are not limited to motion/order drafting, filings with the court, closing preparation, case law research.
Applicant should be proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom and have the ability to take notes on multiple tasks and execute.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive legal research on state laws, regulations and precedents.
· Prepare legal memoranda, draft motions, and assist with opinion writing and case summaries.
· Review and analyze legal briefs, pleadings, and other case-related documents to assist attorney.
· Communicate with counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties as necessary.
· Assist with scheduling, document management, and other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
· Prior experience in a legal research role, judicial internship/externship, or equivalent legal work experience is desirable but not required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
