Maintanence Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd or 3rd Shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
a) Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of production machinery, building systems, HVAC and ancillary.

b) Test proper operation of electrical and mechanical systems in service to evaluate their fitness for continued service.

c) Adhere to all company safety guidelines.

d) Manage satellite hazardous waste accumulations according to federal/state regulation

e) Participate in on-the-job hazardous waste training. Training shall include initial (within 6-months of assignment) and annually, thereafter.

f) Other duties as assigned.

g) Business needs may require overtime.
Qualifications:

a) Must possess a strong Electrical aptitude.

b) Ability to read electrical control schematics and mechanical drawings.

c) Must have strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills

d) Leadership skills a plus

e) Able to work with limited supervision

f) Knowledge/experience in PLC’s is preferred.

g) Computer skills desirable (will train)

h) Good communication skills, good judgment and dedication

Pay: $21.05 - $25.35 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
