Position Overview
The overarching goal of all warehouse positions is to facilitate an efficient and organized flow of product into and out of the warehouse. Using the FIFO method, Warehouse Associates perform receiving, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, and unloading and loading of trucks using both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Fresca’s warehouse is a fast-paced environment in which all employees must effectively respond to changing production schedules.

We currently have the following opening:
- 1st Shift 4:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday-Saturday
Essential Functions
- Utilizing a forklift, performs receiving, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, unloading and loading of trucks as scheduled or assigned
- Uses a scan gun to track materials
- Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Attends all team and Warehouse communication meetings
- Participates in quarterly physical inventory or as needed
- Ensures the condition of the work areas are in order and in compliance with company policies & applicable health and safety codes
- Maintains a basic knowledge of all products carried in the warehouse
- Performs work in a fast-paced environment and effectively responds to changing production schedules
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Education
- 2 years’ experience operating a forklift required
- 2 years’ experience in order pulling required
- 1 years’ scan gun experience required. Accuracy is a must!
- Prior experience in food manufacturing warehouse environment required; demonstrated proficiency in food safety (i.e., allergen management)
- Stand-up forklift experience a PLUS! Will consider candidates without stand-up experience if candidate is able and willing to learn and understands the nature of being on their feet during their entire work shift
- Basic computer skills required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge on general warehouse practices & high awareness of safety
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Team player
Work Environment
- Able to work 8 hours shifts in a mostly fixed schedule, yet flexible to work nights and/or weekends as required
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours per day)
- Mandatory use of required personal protective equipment
- Use of electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
- Use of box cutters
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and capable of lifting 20 lbs on a repeated basis throughout the day
- Frequent bending, stooping and climbing
- Able to work in varying temperatures
- Comfortable with a moderate noise level
- Able to work in an environment with peanuts and tree nuts
Compensation & Benefits
- $22-$23/hour to start DOE, with room to grow!
- $200 new employee bonus after 2 months of full time hours, another $200 after 4th month
