Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment by adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and support order picking processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling
- Proficient in forklift operation, including heavy equipment
- Strong skills in shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to load and unload goods efficiently
- Familiarity with safety regulations, including OSHA standards
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and order picking tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
