What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Coordinator position at Fresenius Medical Care?
Purpose and Scope : As a Charge Nurse, you will support FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. You will adhere to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Your primary goal is to ensure quality patient care while maintaining cost-effective clinical operations in accordance with all legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements and programs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff.
- Participate in the department staffing and hiring process.
- Recommend disciplinary action to the Facility Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with company and facility approved procedures and policies.
- Approve or disapprove time or personnel schedule changes.
- Participate in patient care plan meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of current practices related to dialysis.
- Train and orient staff as necessary.
- Routinely observe and guide direct patient care staff.
- Promote compliance to OSHA programs.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Physical Demands and Working Conditions : The position requires standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work environment includes moderate noise levels and exposure to infectious diseases.
