Responsibilities
- Lead the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through coordination with direct reports.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.
- Maintain an engaged and productive workforce by partnering with Human Resources.
- Ensure compliance with ESRD regulatory requirements and Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) practices.
- Address and act on adverse events and action thresholds.
- Oversee the facility's Home Therapies Program if applicable.
- Accountable for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Communicate FMS Clinical Quality policies and procedures to facility staff.
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with appropriate staff members from admission to discharge.
- Educate patients on quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care.
- Act as a resource for patients to address concerns and questions.
- Complete patient care assessments and care plans efficiently.
Staff Responsibilities
- Implement FMS staffing and medical supply models to provide quality patient care.
- Participate in recruitment and interview processes.
- Ensure new hires receive comprehensive orientation and training.
- Provide opportunities for professional growth and training.
